Heartache Leave

You caught your boyfriend having an affair with another girl. Ouch! You're betrayed. You're alone. Back to zero then you're single again! You cried til you lose yourself. It's morning and you cant report to work. Well, you dont have to... That's what HEARTACHE LEAVE is for.

A cosmetics marketing company in Tokyo believes that employees need time to cry and come back to work refreshed when heartbroken. How cool is that huh?!

Upon hearing this news, a smile cracked on my face. Even in TOKYO- one of the busiest business cities in the world, has time to anticipate a heartache.

Well, heartache is human. Para siyang pagkakasakit. Most of the time you are not ready when it comes. And true enough, how can you be efficient if it will affect your system? So a Heartache Leave lets you go anywhere and do anything you want to shake the aches away! But make sure that there'll be no more pagdradrama at pagtulala sa harap ng PC mo the following day. Wala ka na karapatan!

Now, if your boyfriend has left you for another girl, then you wont be needing a Heartache Leave..

Why not file a Bereavement for him instead? wink wink ;)

ahahaha! i so agree. bereavement kapag iniwan na. sna may ganito rin sa pinas. hahaha! that would be really cool! hahaha! pero sa kalagayan ng ekonomiya ngayon time is valuable. but i agree that a light heart fields higher efficiency in the workplace :)

xa nga pala yung books na sinasabi ko...uhmm...they're not actually novels. they're just compilation of random thoughts, excerpts, and poetry. all about 'her' of course... kaya walang synopsis. hehehe!

yeah---you can also commit suicide during that time.jok. seriously though, maybe this is because of the efforts of the government to lower the cases of suicide in JAPAN. it's serious kasi. They don't have the avenues that we Pinoy's have. Minsan , baligtad. Tabla-tablahan lang kung baga.keke

I don't like this. I'm single and I cannot avail of such leave. HMP.

Can I have some kind of when-loneliness-of-being-single-hits-you kind of leave?

I assure you, the pain is equal if not worst than the former.

And i quote, "Well, heartache is human. Para siyang pagkakasakit." Agree ka naman pala na ang sakit parang na-broken-hearted lang. Pag nalaman mong may sakit ka, malulungkot ka, then after sometime you have to move on.

Once a year mo lang ba pwede gamitin 'yun? Kasi paano 'yung laging na-bo-broken-hearted. Or pwede lang ba gamitin 'yun on the same person once? If you try to preserve a good relationship you get compensated kasi hindi mo gagamitin 'yung leave.

@enrico,

well i just hate it bilang hobby mo i-compare ang sickness sa heartache.

at para sayong tanong:
Heartache Leave you can have is based on your age: "One day off work is granted to those in their early 20s, two days for the mid-20s and a luxurious three days for those who are 30 or over."

DISCLAIMER:
dont we nga ba?

charot!!! hahaha

wahahaha! classic ito ah! i asked a colleague about it, nagulat din sya. pero i wonder if they really take it; kasi dito frequent leaves are often frowned upon ;-) sa akin ok lang ang sched ko kasi university researcher ako, but for my hubby who's a corporate researcher, he has to twist a few arms before he can actually make use of vacation leaves that are rightfully his ;-)
