In Memory of my Most Loved Travel Essential

..no dear, it's not my camera or my backpack.

It may not be essential to some travelers, but this one's really important to me. Im just used to bring it, wherever I go. It's my all weather protection against the striking sun and the heavy rains. Or maybe these are just my excuses pero sa totoo lang ayoko lang talaga magbilad sa arawan.

heavy sigh as I lost my payong
just a few of the many shots with my umbrella in action

True that not all new items are more valuable than the old ones.
The memories shared with my old payong will always remain priceless..
But life goes on. Now it's time to move on and buy a new one, a future use in some holidays to Tenerife. Charot! ^_^

kailan? *serious naman ako, serious ka ba?*

ps : i also bring payong to work. daily. never live home without it.
i got one from here, a long black de-pindot-giordano payong.

By the way, I saw your comment in my Child Haus post regarding your interest to join in an outreach. Maybe you would like to join a film showing for kids with cancer this Saturday at East Avenue (8-1:30 pm). :) It is organized by U! Happy Events. Registration is 300 pesos at any Coffee Bean branch.

Take care and God bless! :)

I know the feeling! I always carry an umbrella wherever I go, either in my backpack, my backpocket or in my car. It serves me well, opinion to the contrary notwithstanding. My only requisite is it has to have a sharp, pointed end for self-defense and a strong frame to withstand strong winds.

Hahahaha. I love the prints of that payong pa naman.
